YouTube subscriber count checker
Check the live subscriber count, total views and video count of any YouTube channel by handle, channel ID or URL. Free, no sign-up.
About the subscriber count tool
Paste a YouTube handle, channel ID or channel URL to see its current subscriber count, lifetime views, number of videos, country and creation date. YouTube rounds subscriber counts publicly (1.23M); the Data API returns the same rounded public figure, updated continuously, which is what this checker shows.
Where the numbers come from
The statistics come from the YouTube Data API v3 channels endpoint, the same source YouTube Studio and every analytics tool use for public figures. Subscriber counts are shown as YouTube publishes them (abbreviated above 1,000); view and video counts are exact.
Channel ID, handle or URL?
Any of the three works. A channel ID starts with UC and never changes; a handle starts with @ and can be changed by the owner. If you are building something that tracks channels over time, store the channel ID, which the result shows.
Frequently asked questions
Why does the subscriber count end in zeros?
YouTube publishes subscriber counts rounded to three significant figures (for example 1.23M) for every channel. Exact counts are only visible to the channel owner.
Can I see subscriber history or growth?
Not from a single check. Developers use the Channels endpoint to record a daily snapshot and chart growth.
What is a YouTube channel ID and where do I find it?
It is the 24-character identifier starting with UC, shown in this tool's result and on the channel's About page under Share channel → Copy channel ID.
Can I get these statistics in my own app?
Yes, the Channels list endpoint returns them as JSON for 1 credit per call, with no Google API key or quota management on your side.
